Lorenzo performed F. Poulenc: Caprice Italiene this weekend. He actually performed three pieces this day; but during his second piece by Chopin, he caught a performer's mental block and could not get past the first section. He stopped twice, and by then, it was obvious he was stuck. That was his easiest piece.
His Poulenc piece was the last performance of the recital, and it was his most difficult piece. When he finished, he received a standing ovation.
What a comeback. Lorenzo rose to the occasion again.
