Nature Picture

Continuing our study of Pellizza's Flowers in a Meadow, we cut out a 1-inch border of black construction paper, chose tissue paper in the colors from the painting, tore them into strips, and glued them across the frame.

Then we cut white doilies and glued them to the front of the strips of paper.

Next, we drew the silhouettes of the children on the black construction paper and cut them out; and glued them also to the front of the paper.

And here are their renditions of Flowers in a Meadow:

Eva, 3 1/2 yrs.

Vin, 5 yrs.

 Gianna, 12 1/2 yrs.

Sophia, 7 yrs.
